Will I need a passport for my trip?
All travelers must have acceptable positive proof of identification and/or citizenship. Depending on your country of origin and your intended destination, passports and/or visas may be required for international travel.
U.S. citizens need a passport valid for international travel and a visa is required for certain countries (ex. China, Australia, Brazil, and more). Those 16 years old or older or traveling internationally must have (1) a passport BOOK valid for six (6) months beyond the planned return date or in certain restricted instances (2) a government-issued photo ID accompanied by a certified copy of your birth certificate. Non-certified or hospital copies will not be accepted. Those under the age of 16, in certain restricted instances, may travel using a certified copy of his or her birth certificate. Non-certified or hospital copies will not be accepted.
What will the airlines allow me to pack?
The T.S.A. regulates the majority of items allowed in carry-on or checked baggage. Those requirements can be found here. It is always best to double-check your individual airline to see if they have additional bans on things like certain electronic devices.
How much do you charge for travel advising services?
Our primary compensation comes through commissions paid from hotels, cruises, and tour suppliers.
We do charge a non-refundable design fee to cover our time, research, and expertise for certain destinations as we customize each trip indiviually to meet your specific goals. Any fees will be disclosed prior to any charges or obligations. We also charge a fee for air-only reservations (air included with cruises, and most hotel packages require no added fee), multi-location trips, and large group bookings. Most of our clients will agree that any charges exceed the value they afford. Please feel free to call and inquire if this applies to what you have in mind.
Can I use my rewards/credit card miles?
No, we are not affiliated with any credit card rewards programs and are unable to book travel with them.
You are welcome to book any element of your package on your own, but we strive to provide excellent service and value throughout your travel process, from the planning stages through booking, and finally, the welcome home as you return from your trip. Do you book Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge/Wears Valley Cabins?
Yes we do. However, due to the nature of offerings in this area, we have a limited inventory of cabins and chalets available.
